About Me

 ABOUT THIS BLOG 

My name is Noémie, and I study at Montmorency college in special education technique.This program includes several courses on intervention with individuals with special needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or intellectual disabilities. This is only my second year in the program, but the courses I enjoyed most were those where we put theory into practice, like my observation course where we had to identify the underlying need behind a behavior.

 The program may lead me to work in several establishments and with several client groups.As for the facilities, I have the opportunity to work in schools, correctional facilities, hospitals, early childhood centers, and many more. Regarding the clientele, we have the option of working with any age group we prefer, since the training is inclusive for all ages, from 0 to 100 years old.
